About Konfidence

Konfidence is a family owned company who wanted to focus on new means of flotation while still keeping the wetsuit sleek and stylish.

Out of this vision came the original Konfidence Jacket. The Konfidence Jacket was designed to aid in swimming instruction by adding a buoyancy feature so young children would not become as apprehensive in water. Konfidence also wanted to market the Jacket as being completely different from the already available tubes and water wings. Konfidence believed that the Jacket would serve to help kids learn how to kick and paddle the correct way instead of overcompensating for their fear of the water.

Since the introduction of the Konfidence Jacket, the company has continued to manufacture products that provide babies and young children with confidence building swimwear and equipment so they can effectively learn how to master the intricacies of swimming.

Konfidence has also begun to manufacture items that help to protect young children from the sun's harmful UV rays. These articles of clothing, which range from a UV jacket to entire suits, can be worn in or out of the water and protect the skin by acting as a shield against the sun.
